Situated 100kms south of Turin, between Turin and Genoa, you will find our converted farmhouse in the hills of the Langhe area. The house stands on 2.5 hectares of land at an altitude of 520 meters in the small village of SantAnna, close to the town of Ceva.
We bought the farm in 2018 after a long search for our ideal home in this beautiful and unknown part of Italy.
The oldest part of the house dates back to the 1600’s and over the following centuries other parts were added on. When we bought it, the house had been empty since 1920. Parts of the roof were missing, the corner tower had no roof at all, and nature had taken up residence in several of the rooms. The previous owners, Gemma and Guiseppe had carefully maintained the land and orchards and used the produce for themselves. Luckily for us, the exterior walls and foundations were in good condition so that work to transform the building into luxurious, tastefully decorated houses could begin almost immediately.
After many years of renovation, ups and downs and travelling back and forth to Italy, the time has finally come to share this beautiful part of Italy with others. We look forward to welcoming our guests to the tranquility of the green hills of Piemonte.
We hope to see you soon at Casa SantAnna!
