Casa Giuseppe: 6 persons
Roascio (CN), Piemonte, Italy
You can find Casa SantAnna at the end of a tarred road near the small village of SantaAnna. The large farm house has been divided into 4 completely independent houses, each with its own separate entrance, of which 3 are for rent. The outer facades have been completely restored to their original state but the interiors have been updated in terms of comfort we expect now. All exterior walls, new roofs and ground floors have been insulated, and 50 solar panels have placed on the roof.
For guests there is a charging point available for electric cars, and WiFi is available in the houses and pool area.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. As much as we love animals, we have to be aware that many people have allergies to dogs and cats.
At Casa SantAnna you can enjoy the stillness of nature, the stunning views of the lush green surroundings, the sight of deer and wild boars eating the fallen fruit and nuts in the orchard and listen to the sounds of the birds and the crickets singing in the summer.
In- and round Casa SantAnna you are surrounded by luxurious, comfortable (box spring) beds, well-equipped modern kitchens, nice bathrooms and last but not least a beautiful infinity pool (13x5), which can be heated by solar panels provided the sun shines. The pool is built in the meadow below the houses. In the pool area you find plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas, an open kitchen, BBQ, a shower room with toilet and the laundry room with washing machine for the guests.
Casa Giuseppe is the biggest house of three. The entrance is located at the rear of the building. Through the large terrace (south-east) with outdoor furniture, from where you have a beautiful view on the green hills and the little town of Torresina in the distance, you enter the spacious modern kitchen. Here you can see right from the age-old thick wooden support beam that you have entered an old house. The original stone interior walls have been preserved as much as possible, and the old pantry has been restored. There is a pellet stove in the kitchen, for the fresh evenings in the early and late season. Next to the kitchen is the first of three bedrooms, which is connected with the pellet stove in the kitchen. Here you can admire the old ceiling. The old fireplace now offers space for the clothes hangers. The pantry in this room has also been restored. There are two windows overlooking the fruit trees in the inner garden.
Through the stairs in the very bright hall you reach the first floor, where you find two more bedrooms with chestnut beamed ceiling. Both bedrooms have airconditioning (and heating). The bathroom, and an additional extra toilet on the first floor. Here too, as many as possible old details of the house have been preserved. These largely determine the atmosphere in all the houses.
Bedrooms windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
When booking you can make a request for a cot and high chair. These are free of charge. These will be ready in your house upon arrival.
An iron and ironing board are available in the house.
